Welcome, teachers! We’re happy to announce that we’ve designed an easy-to-use, eLearning tool - an introduction to foster global competency through intercultural learning, just for you and your students. This classroom experience is also meant to expose students to the notion of global citizenship as a journey - and not a finite destination. By exploring different topics, students will be challenged to think critically about pressing world issues and the important role of youth in promoting peace. As a leader in intercultural learning, AFS-USA understands the significance of incorporating global learning with important 21st century skills such as cross-cultural collaboration and communication in the school setting.
Project/event directions for participation:
Participants will be walked through a guided demo of Culture Trek: Classroom Connections, and will be invited to use it in their own classrooms. It is US-based, but many portions would be applicable to classrooms in other countries.
