To learn more about global projects and virtual exchange with iEARN, join a special back to school webinar on September 15, 2016 on Global Collaboration Day. During the webinar, we will showcase examples of global project-based learning that engage students in collaborative work exploring real-world problems while experiencing cross-cultural connections and friendships through online, virtual exchange. The webinar will give a virtual tour of the iEARN online platform (iearn.org/collaboration) and provide planning strategies, tips, and lesson ideas for global projects that connect youth with their peers in other countries. We will review a variety of global project examples designed and facilitated by teachers around the world, including geography, art, science, math, and civic engagement projects.
