Title of event/project:
Discussion on mobile apps and web sites developed by K12 students
URL to project/event starting point:
Students (middle to high school) will be invited to discover apps and web sites developed by peers during the summer. They will have the opportunity to install the apps and access the web sites, and provide feedback through chats and posts in a Facebook group. Facebook is widely used in Senegal. The organizers of the event will be located in the US and Senegal. The participants will be introduced to the use of Facebook as an education tool. This is our first attempt to interact with our students' population online and something we are really looking forward to! We will advertise the event on our Facebook page and to our alumni network.
Project/event directions for participation:
The participants need to join the group on the provided date and time. The links to download the apps and access the web sites will be provided. The discussion will be moderated by the organizers such that everybody keeps on track. Questions will be asked for each app and web site.
