Title of event/project:
Food for Thought
**Participants should go to this link to start the project.
URL to project/event starting point:**
Share recipes and culture through typical dishes from your area. Also, take a look at some apps that allow you learning a new language while reading recipes and information about typical foods from other countries. We are also looking for our second group of 100 high school or middle school teachers to sign up for a curriculum based classroom project - Food For Thought. For the past decade we have run video conferences on sharing food and cultures. My grandmother always said, "The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach." Now we have put a new twist, "The way to learn a language is through your stomach." Everyone eats. Everyone has a fun, and most of all, everyone gets to learn a great deal more about other people and cultures.
Project/event directions for participation:
1. Think about typical foods from your area and pick some pictures to show us.
2. Join us at zoom.us/j/371745179, learn about languages and foods.
3. Participate in the Q&A session.
4. Talk about food from your place too.
